This privacy policy describes how Calmory, s.r.o. (“we”, “our company”) collects, uses and protects personal data of users of the Calmory mobile app.

This policy applies to the Calmory mobile app available through Google Play and the App Store.

What data we may collect

Health and mental wellbeing data (Health Data)

Given Calmory’s focus on wellbeing, we expressly declare that the app may collect data about the user’s mental wellbeing. This data includes, for example:

• Mood records (mood tracking).
• Stress and anxiety levels.
• History of using meditations and relaxation techniques.
• Personal journal entries and other data voluntarily entered by the user.

This data is used solely to personalise app content and improve the user experience.

Identification and account data

• Email address.
• Name or nickname.
• Optionally year of birth.
• Optionally gender.

Technical and analytics data

• Technical information about the device.
• Anonymised statistics about app use.
• Interactions with app features and error reports (crash logs).

How we use data

• providing and improving app features,
• personalising content (e.g. recommending a suitable exercise based on your current mood, solely with the user’s consent),

• tools for tracking app errors (Google Play Console, App Store Connect),

These services process data only for the operation and improvement of the app. We never sell your sensitive data (Health Data, journals, moods) to third parties or provide it to advertising networks.

Data retention period

We retain personal data for the duration of the user account or for as long as necessary to provide the service.

If you decide to cancel your account, the process is as follows: After the account is deleted, all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

How to delete data

You have the full right at any time to request deletion of your account and all related personal data. You can request data deletion in two ways:

• directly in the app settings (the fastest way, which starts the deletion process automatically),
• by email to calmoryapp@gmail.com (from the email address you are registered with in the app).

After we verify your request, all your data will be permanently removed from all our systems and backups within 30 days.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Your rights under the GDPR

As a user, besides the right to erasure you also have the following rights:

• Right of access: To obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: To correct inaccurate data.
• Right to withdraw consent: To withdraw consent to the processing of sensitive data at any time (e.g. by deleting data in the app).
• Right to data portability: To obtain your data in a machine-readable format.
